Artist Biography Wayne J. Tirone has been painting in oils for many years concentrating on Fine Art and Illustration. Painting traditional subjects, exploring genres, and evoking mood through color harmony and light. Tirone's paintings and drawings have been described as Impressionist with transcendental aspects. He's won several awards for excellence and has been published widely including in The Hartford Courant which featured a profile on the artist. Tirone (pronounced: tur-oh-knee) earned his BFA from Paier College of Art. He resides now on the Connecticut shoreline. "Exceptional art is more an abstraction of nature than a copy of it."
