I am a 3-time grandmother who lives in Lawrenceville, located in the very rural south central part of VA about 20 miles from the NC border. Since 1993, I've been blessed with a 24/7 job caring for a handicapped lady who is just wonderful. I have an 18yo grandson I've raised from birth and is now attending Savannah College of Art & Design in Georgia. My daughter, 13 yo grandson and 4 yo granddaughter have recently moved to this area, so I am truly blessed with family close to me. My interests are reading Danielle Steel, John Grisham, and James Patterson; and baking.

After the Tsunami disaster, my grandsons and I raised more than $2500 to help in the relief aid for those in need. I sold merchandise on eBay and helped my grandsons hold bake sales. The boys held yard sales, penny fundraisers, and took their "odd jobs" money to add to the fund. I'm so proud of their caring, giving, and hard work to accomplish a goal that we initially set at $1000.
We pray for the safe return of our soldiers and civilians in Iraq and elsewhere around the world, and hope you are richly blessed in your daily lives. God bless us all!!
