Welcome to my 'About Me' page. My name is John a Lancastrian born in Oldham, I worked for some 40 years for a Public Utility. I was the Test & Development Manager for the North West Electricity Company (Norweb).
However when the call came and my Test Centre in Chorley (EMTEC) closed I opened a small antique and collectables shop in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. To enable me to keep my sales prices low in 2008 I decided to reduce my overheads and now I rent a space in a friends Jewellery Shop
I am thus still able to indulge in my interest in watches and clocks as well as buying from and selling to the locals.
All my items are usually well described warts and all. This comes from years of writing electrical and telecommunications specifications, pedantic is a watchword.
I also take great pride in maintaining a 100% positive feedback. Please have fun bidding on my Ebay items and Good Luck. I am now beyond the pension age. The odd typo creeps in, please forgive these Senior moments. But remember
