I started tatting when I was 5 years old. My mother later taught me to crochet and eventually I taught myself to knit. I enjoy creating things and can't watch TV without having something in my hands so crocheting works great for me. It also seems to help with mobility in my hands. I have never entered any of my crochet into competition but have won several Championships with my knitting. I love trying to come up with some new patterns and interesting designs. While I do sew I just don't enjoy it anymore. At present I am teaching other to crochet and was amazed that there are so many younger ladies that want to learn. I spend most evenings watching TV with my disabled son. We seem to enjoy the same movies and Disney in on the top of our list. We are really into John Wayne as well.

What started out to be one troll to be used for a model is turning into a small invasion force. While working with them they seem to develop a personality and it is difficult for me to part with them but I have no place to display so must keep my collection very small. I have really enjoyed meeting so many nice people all over the world who are willing to share their experiences and advice with me. I hope to continue for a long time as I really enjoy my crochet and the little dolls and trolls.
