As I continued collecting of albums, I began to acquire a substantial amount of albums that stands at around 15,000 today. Obviously, I didn't need all these albums so I decided to offer for auction those that I simply didn't need for my own personal use. I entered the world of Ebay.

My approach to selling is quite simple. I only offer albums that have been cleaned, examined and tested. I review the cover, play some or all of the record and try very hard to give an accurate assesment of the album to potential buyers. I am not saying that every lot I sell is premium, but when it isn't I say so. I use "Goldmine" as a reference and tend to understate the quality of the album.

I want my buyers to get value for their money. The auction process, by its' nature, may push a price higher than one really wants to pay, but I have no control over the process. For the most part, as my rating reflects, my buyers are more than pleased with the purchase.

Having such a large collection of albums, that I continue to add to all the time, I can't put everything up for sale all at the same time. But if you send me an email I can probably set up a requested lot for auction. My goal, after all, is to share my love of music with others like me.
