Order Tracking and Shipping Confirmation All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS) and can be shipped to PO Box addresses. Shipping labels are printed directly from eBay's website and tracking information will be available in your won list on your "My eBay" page and also on the order details page. Once we print the shipping label you'll receive an automatic email confirming shipping at which time the tracking number will become available. Tracking information that is updated on eBay is currently a bit slow and inaccurate so we recommend entering the tracking number directly on the usps.com for the most up to date tracking information. We usually print shipping labels the evening or morning before packing orders so allow at least a day for tracking information to begin to update. We print in advance just in case there's a loss of electricity or internet connection in the middle of preparing orders (which has happened). Should you have trouble locating your order tracking number(s) please contact us and we'll further assist you. Here's a link to track orders directly on the USPS website: USPS - Track & Confirm Order Shipping Days - Handling Time - Transit Time Shipping days for live critters are Monday and Wednesday to ensure they arrive quickly with no weekend layovers at your local post office. Purchases paid for Wednesday-Saturday will ship on Monday and purchases paid for Sunday-Tuesday will ship on Wednesday. Transit times for live critters is usually 36-48 hours from the time we drop them off to our local post office. Because we're only 50 miles from a major airport/USPS sorting facility Priority-Mail shipments are extremely fast, most cost effective for our customers, and safe for shipping the species we offer. We also have a 100% live arrival guarantee so if you have any concerns when your critters arrive please contact us and we'll further assist you. Non-perishable items (driftwood, slate, decor, etc.) will be shipped within 3 days of cleared payment. Shipping Delays Once in a while there's a delay in shipping from holidays, weather (here or destination), or family/personal situation and we understand some of our customers plan their orders to arrive according to travel plans. Should there be a delay in shipping from such events we'll send you an email with the reason why, expected date that your order will ship on, and for our customers consideration we'll ask for confirmation/approval just in case the delay prevents you from being available to safely receive your order so special arrangements can be made. Combining Orders Live critters can be combined in the same package and they will be in their own separate bags per species. They won't be combined with non-perishable items (driftwood, slate, decor, etc.) as they have different requirements for packaging, require a faster delivery time, and to prevent them from getting crushed or mishandled. Non-perishable items can be combined together with the exception of the "USPS Flat-Rate Box-O-Rocks" as they're in a fixed rate USPS box already filled to capacity. Packaging of Live Critters All live critters are shipped double bagged using 2-mil poly bags with a predetermined measured amount of water and air per specimen quantity. A maximum amount of specimens are allowed per bag to avoid overcrowding and multiple bags are commonly used. They are then wrapped in a few layers of insulating material (which also provides cushioning and puncture protection) and then placed into their shipping box with voids filled with newspaper for cushioning, firmness, and as an absorbent material should a leak occur. During the summer and orders being shipped to warmer climates, ice packs are used to help keep them cool during transit and during the winter extra insulation and heat packs (if needed) are used to prevent them from freezing. We strive to provide the best products and service for our customers and are very successful with shipping live specimens but we also understand that some shipments don't always go as anticipated. Should you have any concerns with your purchase please contact us and we'll work with you to win your smile. All of our critters have a 100% live arrival guarantee and are replaced should something go wrong. On top of this we always send extra specimen(s) just in case 1 or 2 don't do so well. For non-perishable items (driftwood, slate, decor, etc.) please contact us with your concerns first and we'll figure out the best solution in the interest of our customer. Feedback Upon payment of your purchase we always leave positive feedback. Once your item(s) arrive and your satisfied with your purchase please do the same for us. Should you be unsatisfied with your purchase please contact us before leaving feedback and we'll work with you to turn your transaction with us into a positive one. Payment Methods Accepted We gladly accept PayPal as our preferred payment method. Realizing that not all of our customers use PayPal or credit cards, upon request we'll also gladly accept USPS Postal Money Orders. This is the only form of paper payment we'll accept and is the most secure for everyone. For additional security please send these (and for every other seller) with a signature delivery confirmation required. Money Orders from issuers other then the USPS, personal checks, and cashiers checks are not accepted. |
