Selling Promotional Models for over 20 Years
After repairing Business Machines for IBM for 22 years, the need for a typewiter repairman in 1983 was not a skill that was in demand with computers becoming the business and home word processor. Mr.Fury Miniature Motors was started in December of 1983 as a full time business. I always thought I would like to sell cars at a dealership, but I ended up selling the 1/25 scale Dealer Promotional models that were sold or given away from some automobile dealerships. My wife and I have been attending car shows for over 30 years. Other than affording me the opportunity to sell my items, the shows have provided me with a wealth of information pertaining to cars and their production along with the models produced to prmote them. Through the years I have become acquainted with many talented artists in an effort to provide my customers with some unusual and beautiful automobilia models and other items.
Dealer Promotional Models, Preiser Scale People, Hallmark Car & Truck Ornaments and Automotive Literature
For many years I sold Dealer Promotional Models and specialized in Corvette Promotional Models. To that end we have expanded the product line to include not just 1/25 models but also to have Mr.Fury Miniature Motors make available more items like billboards for 0 gauge train layouts and 1/43 scale cars and trucks along with the 1/25 miniature dealerships, miniature people, car and promotional literature, American Graffiti Diecast cars and people, Route 66 Corvette Diecast cars, and Christmas ornaments. I will also be listing Indy 500 Pace Car literature and Pace Car Press Kits. For years I have been selling Original Corvette Literature at Chevrolet Corvette swapmeets. Now I will be listing Corvette Literature in my ebay store. I am in the process of adding more items in my ebay store daily, so check Mr.Fury's General Store often.
