WHO WE ARE
Weingarten Gallery was founded in 1967 to manufacurer fine jewelry in Dayton OH, a few years later the Director of the Air Force Museum asked us if we could make a charm of the 1903 Wright Flyer in Sterling Silver. We did and it started us off to a collection of over 450 charms, tie tacs, and military/USAF insignia. Today we have expanded to include very high quality reproductions of US Wings from the first 1913 wings to WWI and II and even a few current wings for the Airman who wants to wear real silver. In addition we still make jewelry and many other fine items in sterling. All items are made in sterling silver and 14k Gold only. In 2003 we were authorized by the Department of Defense to manufactuer current military insignia under the hallmark "W-32." We will be making our insignia only in sterrling silver and 14k gold for those who care to wear only the best. We were located in Dayton, Ohio the Birthplace of Aviation, home of the Wright Brothers and Wright Patterson AFB until January. In 2006 we moved to Indianapolis to be close to family. Luxenberg is a registered Trademark of Weingarten Gallery. Luxenberg military insignia is considered the finest that were ever made. The sale of older Luxenberg insignia is encouraged by us. However, new and reproduction Luxenberg insignia or sale of photo's of the trademark is not permitted and will be removed in accordance with the VERO program. Resale of Luxenberg insignia made by us is permitted if credit is shown that it was manufactured by Weingarten Gallery. All items made by us and not properly identified will be removed under the VERO program.What I make.
We have charms and tie tacs of most aircraft since 1903 and a great deal of insignia in charms, tie tacs and full size wings since 1913. So if you are looking for thhat wing that was worn on a unifrom in defense of our our nation, drop us a line and we may be able to help you. In addition we have a full line of jewelry and many other items such as minitures for doll houses but everything is in 14K gold or Silver. No cheap junk metals. We are also happy to help people ID military wings to assist in you placing items up for auction, just e-mail us a photo and we will happy to assist. But US items only.
