Mother's Love

My path in life, I knew when I was growing up, would always be involved in creating, being an artist.  Being a wife and mother, of course, has always come first, but after my three boys were grown I became more involved in art.  I began creating with polymer clay, learning from my mistakes and enjoying the process more and more!

I first started making Santa dolls, Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, but I also found it very rewarding to see fairies and mermaids emerge from the clay.  Learning to make the fine features and curvacious bodies was is so much different than working on the lines and wrinkles of an aging face!  

My husband, Terry, is very supportive and has always been very helpful!  Besides being my sweetheart, he is my professional photographer and webmaster.  His imagination and ideas are very inspiring, and it's wonderful to be able to share my work with him!

I like to use my imagination and make use of some of nature's own materials in my creations.  I like to put all of my senses into my work so my customers can feel, hear, smell, and see things they can relate to, things that bring back wonderful memories, feelings of excitement, love, and fantasy, or a place of peace found only in their dreams.     

Sculpting is theraputic for me, it makes me, "me".  I put my love, my soul into each peace.  As I continue to work, I continue to learn, improve, and grow.  I have a love of fantasy and whimsy, and time seems to stop every day as I enter that world through my work!
