I'm a 4th generation quilter who truly loves to quilt...I've been quilting more than 20 years.
Most of the time I hand quilt, but over the years I have done some machine quilting...I always end up going back to hand quilting though. It's hard to beat that old-fashioned look you get from a well quilted quilt. However, when my life gets busy around the holidays and during the warm weather season when I have yardwork and gardening to do, I find myself doing more machine quilting.
The quilts I offer for sale are well made & heirloom quality...I use good quality fabric, batting and thread and most important...a whole lot of pride and hard work!
My quilts are one of a kind...simply because I love to use leftover scraps of fabric and don't always follow a specific pattern. I love to just sit down to the sewing machine with a pile of fabric scraps and just start sewing them together and let the quilt take shape as I go.
Some of the quilts I offer for auction are made by my Mother who is retired and is the one who gave me my love of quilting. She is a perfectionist when it comes to her work and her quilts are Beautiful !!
Not only do I have quilts for sale on eBay, but I offer handquilting services for your quilt tops. I have been quilting for others for many years and I have worked on new quilt tops as well as quilt tops that date back to the Depression Era. I am always happy to send pictures of my quilting work.
