What can you expect if you
bid on my lots?
-
Buying and selling on eBay is one of my
hobbies. Most of my items will be sports collectibles or philatelic
items. However, I love to visit flea markets and
auctions and may list an
occasional item in other categories if I feel that I can list it at a
reasonable price.
-
I make every effort to keep the shipping
cost at a minimum. Most of my lots request postage cost only.
When special packing material is required I may add a slight increase over
postage.
-
I will send you an invoice within 24 hours
of a lot closing. All the payment terms and shipping information
will be completed. Sit back and relax, no need to do the checkout
thing. We do it all for you.
-
I will keep you informed regarding the
progress of our transaction. I will let you know when I receive your
payment and when your lot is shipped. If there is a tracking number
involved, I will let you know what it is.
-
I try very hard to accurately describe my
lots so that you know exactly what you are bidding on. However, if
you are not satisfied with a lot, let me know. I don't want to have
dissatisfied customers.
-
About 40% of my sales are transacted with eBayers outside the United States. I
particularly enjoy this opportunity to promote global commerce and
international understanding. I have had customers in over 50
countries and all seven continents (that includes Antarctica).
Who am I?
-
I have been a eBay member since March 1999.
-
I have been a stamp collector for about 55
years. I collect Canada, Antarctic, Channel Islands, 19th century
worldwide, aerophilately,
perfins and postal history and exhibit at local shows.
-
I design pictorial cancellations.
-
I chose the name "Muleshoestamps"
because it reflects my interest in wagon trains and philately. Yes,
mules wear shoes (there is probably a picture or so of some mules on the
wagon train website). No, my Jenny is not a mule in the mine (as the
rhyme goes*) - my Jenny is pictured in the background.
-
I am President of the Westmoreland
County, PA Philatelic Society. I write their monthly Newsletter
and maintain their website.
-
I am a member of the Appalachian
Wagon Train. I help with publicity and administer their mail
program. I am also their webmaster.
-
I have been a member of the American
Philatelic Society since 1985. My membership number is 138131.
-
I enjoy ice hockey. Especially Johnstown
Chiefs hockey. I would rather attend a minor league game than an NHL game.
I find minor league hockey to be a much more personal and
satisfying experience and I get to watch the players, coaches and
officials advance to the higher leagues.
-
I am a retired electrical
engineer.
* My Jenny's a mule in
the mine.
I drive
her without any line.
On her bumper, I sit.
And tobacco I spit.
All over my sweet Jenny's spine.

rhyme)
