My name is Derek and I mine, cut and polish gemstones. I am currently mining the Oregon Sunstone from my claims. I have a great passion for this stone since it is so beautiful and comes in many different colors. It is a very easy stone to cut and polish and has a hardness of 6.7 to 7.2
