The Miami Valley Lampwork Bead Artists (MVLBA) is a non-profit group of glass bead artists based out of the Miami Valley area of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. We sell handmade glass items made by group members on ebay in order to help pay for operational expenses for the group. We are a chapter of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers, Inc (ISGB). Our goal is to:

a) promote fellowship and social contacts with fellow MVLBA members and encourage membership of fellow glass bead makers in the area.

b) preserve the rich and diverse traditions of the art of glass beadmaking and glass working techniques.

c) to promote educational initiatives on historical, as well as, contemporary techniques and trends.

d) establish programs which promote the art of glass beadmaking and glass working to the general public as well as among collectors, potential collectors, museums, the arts community and educational facilities; and

e) to institute communications, networking support and professional development among the glass beadmakers in the southeastern Ohio area.
