Microworld Computer Center (ABN 27 852 137 68) is based in
inner-west Sydney, NSW. Established in 1999, we started out as IT consultants,
and a year later started offering computer systems and parts as a result of
client demand. Shortly after this time we 'discovered' eBay and noticed the
enormous potentional this marketplace had to offer for both the buyer and
seller, we registered with eBay as sellers in July of 2002.
The Microworld of today is dedicated to bringing you the highest quality
products at the lowest prices. We are able to do this because we directly import
all our products from established manufacturers in South East Asia. By employing
this direct to the public model, the middle man has been cut out, and we are
able to pass on all the savings to you! Just compare our prices to the retail

- Please note that consumables, such as batteries or earphones, are not
covered by warranty.
- If an item arrives faulty, please return it to us for exchange, customer
will pay for shipping back to us, we will pay for shipping back to the
customer.
- If an item is tested and found not faulty, customer will be required to
cover return shipping costs also, additionally there will be a $20 testing
fee.
- If your item arrives damaged, please make a note of this with the
courier before signing, otherwise you will not be covered if a claim needs
to be made.
We are committed to providing a solely online experience through our
auctions. As such we have laid down procedures to streamline our service. Our
shipping and handling charges include the following:
- Importation of the items and all applicable GST/duties charges
- Storage of the items prior to sale
- Packing of the items
- Printing invoices
- Labelling items
- Delivering the items to the Post Office
We also have specialised software which helps to speed up the whole process.
In regards to the above we will not enter into any discussion about our shipping
charges. We feel they are reasonable and fair and should you enquire after
winning an auction you will be referred to this page.
The time we would spend answering email enquiries AFTER THE AUCTION can be much
better served by improving our service to those customers who have read our
Terms and Conditions and fully understand all charges BEFORE they even place
their bid.
- I purchased an MP3 player but my battery is not lasting very long.
We
recommend using NiMH rechargeable batteries, they will last a lot longer
than standard alkaline batteries and you will be able to recharge them which
will save you money in the long run.
- I need to return my item for exchange, can I drop it off?
We do not
allow pickups or dropoffs under any circumstances. If you need to send in a
faulty item for repair or exchange, please contact us and we will give you
the address to send it in to.
