I quit my job when we got my daughter, so I could be with her full time. My Grandmother is a huge lover of books. Her love of books was given to all her children and grandchildren. When my Grandmother passed away, I was the one who got all the books, videos and other things. Then my Aunt gave me hundreds of boxes full of stuff also. I now have a basement full of boxes stacked everywhere full everything.
I decided to go through them and start selling them, as I alreadry had most of the videos, and most of the books. Plus, my kids have a huge library of books, and just don't need anymore. I also have my school down there, so it is somethimes difficult to get around down there, when I got things lying around, and need to teach.
I am always buying new things for teaching the children, including videos, books, toys, games, and much more. When they outgrow it, or don't use it anymore, I sell it for someone to get good use out of it. If you have read my page about my children, you know they are special needs, so buying new teaching toys is always a must.
My kids love videos, especially music videos. Videos really help them learn speech, cognitive skills, reading comprehension, and more skills. Like most kids, they can get bored of videos quickly too, and need new ones. Which, I then turn around and sell.
I mostly sell books, videos, my homeschooling books, hooked on phonics sets and supplies, flashcards, coloring books, computer software, DVD's, games and other children's learning toys.
I am starting to expand my business, as I started selling jewelry, which has gone extremely well. I am hoping to further expand my business by selling clothes (as my children have many clothes that are very like new), hardly worn, and many clothes that are brand new never been worn, with the price tags still on them.
I also have a lot of other things around the house, like collectibles, and disneyanya items. A lot of things that you just don't use of need anymore, and think others would like to have. You just never know what others out there would want.
I have had nothing but postivie experiences on Ebay, outside of a large amount of non-paying bidders. You meet a lot of interesting people, people from all over the world. I love selling on Ebay, and will continue to as long as I continue to have nothing but positive experiences.
