God knew there would be children with Autism - and in honor of them He made the planets in the solar system spin round and round, round and round..... Author, unknown Well, here's a little bit about me! I am a christian, a mom, a wife, a part-time bartender, a gopher, and a teacher, all with a mind full of creative energy ready to burst! If you are wondering about the pink ribbons, I am a niece and a neighbor of a breast cancer survivor, so awareness is a HUGE deal for me! Enough said!... On May 10, 2008 I officially became Mrs. Marcy Comnick! I married the man of my dreams, who has taught me that you truly can do what you LOVE for a living! My son was born legally blind and at 4 years old ago he was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome... (high functioning autism.) On top of all that, he was retested in the fall of 2008 and we've added AD/HD to the list! He's very bright and needs a lot of support with "technical" answers and he gets to be a challenge when you can't figure out what's going on in that cute little head of his! Needless to say, he takes up A LOT of my time... he's learned both print and some braille, so I have learned how to sight read braille so that I can help him learn, also. Oh, he's just a riot! (& wicked handsome, if I may say so...!) We went through a big change in '05... we moved from central New York to Northern Texas! It's been an amazing experience so far! The weather is perfect for him since he has so much extra energy that he needs to exert and, heck, I just like the sun! I also have a darling little step-daughter now! I can finally go shoe shopping and have someone appreciate it! She is growing every day, and the both of them together get along as if they were biological brother and sister. My step-daughter helps to show my son where things are, and he is starting to be a very good "protector" of his little sister! They are amazing and continue to teach me new things on a daily basis! eBay has been a blessing for me. I started off selling a few things around the house and it has only blossomed from there. I now concentrate on my original love, painting, and I have been successful with selling them here! I absolutely love the fact that something that I painted in my home can travel across the globe and end up on a little girl or boy's wall!!! My favorite is when a customer finishes up the room and sends me pictures... it just puts a big smile on my face! I am also a buyer on eBay. I buy personal things for myself, for my business, and my husband loves to pick up deals on sports cards! By the end of 2009, I will be a work at home mom where I can devote my time to my passion and my children! I AM a customer service representative. Thanks for reading about me & God Bless You! HERE'S A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY WORK: I started my business with only 3 murals in my store. Almost every mural in my store since then has been a custom order request from my customers. I now offer images to over 250 choices. If you don't see something you like, ask me, as I can usually come up with images or strategies to make your room look beautiful! My murals are hand drawn and hand painted. After that, they are outlined and coated to protect and seal in the artwork. Finally, they are cut around their shape to make the image look as if I came to your home and painted the mural directly on your wall. All this is done before the thought of shipping the product crosses my mind! The process can take anywhere between a day to a week depending on the size and detail of the project, and my prices are also based on those factors. Wallpaper murals are an inexpensive way to decorate walls beautifully! For custom orders and large orders purchased, I will give you a time quote on how long it will take for me to complete your order. I ship priority mail ONLY. For the U.S. it usually arrives in 2-3 days from the ship date and for international, it can take upwards of 2 weeks for your order to arrive after the ship date. If you have any questions about shipping, I will be more than happy to discuss them with you! With every order, I ship complete and simple directions. I offer traditional and recommended method, and I will write you a note as to which one I feel will work best for your order. My husband and I are working on doing a video, also, so that you can see how to apply your mural onto your walls! I am doing what I love to do when I paint my murals.
