Joanna & Co.

I was born and raised in Arizona.  When I graduated from high school, I went to a small Bible college in Costa Mesa, California.  Shortly after that, I began teaching.  I remained in the same district for 32 years, teaching second grade, junior high, and the developmentally disabled.  I retired in 1990 and have never been sorry.  My husband, Clarence, retired from sales at Thomas Nelson, Publishers in 1996.  We have been enjoying our home in the Central Coast every since.

My husband, Clarence and I were married in 1970.  For 25 years, our home was in Diamond Bar, California, until we built and moved to the Central Coast where we presently live with our golden retriever, Emma; three feral cats, Stanley & Stella and Cassidy; two donkeys, Harry & Bess; and a bay quarterhorse, Sophia.

We have two great kids, Tim, our son, and Susan, our darling daughter-in-law, and Ana, our Guatemalen daughter and her husband, Ivo.

I began selling on EBay in 2002.  It has been such a rewarding experience for me because I feel I am putting a quality item in the hands of those who want it most.  I have met such wonderful folks, both as buyers and sellers, and only wish it were easier to put a face to them. The items you will find in my store are quality out-of-print Bibles and Christian study books, gifts, videos, self-help tapes, and jewelry.  You'll also find Vern Parker, Western Artist products such as art prints, notecards, screensavers and vintage postcards.

We enjoy the theater, picnicing, old movies, traveling and visiting new places, both overseas and in the U.S. 

I love the creative things I can do on the computer; albums, cards, signs, family books, histories and CD's.  I also sew, quilt, crochet and knit.  I never seem to find enough time for it all.  I guess I will leave my unfinished projects in my will.
