The Reason I Am Here
My family tells me that I have "too many books and too much stuff" in my home. Don't tell them, but I really have to agree with them -- space is needed around here, particularly when the two little grands are visiting. Perhaps you will find something you like among the things that I have listed on eBay. If you do, then we can help each other out -- You get something that you like and my family gets something they like -- more space. AND I get to collect more stuff to fill all that empty space!
More About MeMy BOOKS: I like to read and I love books. Because of this, members of my large family have long made me the recipient of any book they come across from every source you can imagine - yard sales, trash boxes, thrift stores, library sales, book stores, etc. Not all of the books are of the subject matter I prefer, but I can't bring myself to "dump" them. Hopefully, you will find a book, or books, that interest you.Because of the time involved in photographing and writing up a description for each book, I recently began listing some of my books at half.com by eBay under my eBay ID, mylowcountry -- URL is http://shops.half.com/mylowcountry. Only books published since the assignment of ISBNs are listed at half.com -- all others (older publications) can be found in my eBay store, MyLowCountry Collector.
My COLLECTIBLES: Over the years I have collected things that interested me at the moment - rarely expensive, seldom the current fad - but always because it interested me at the time or served some purpose no longer needed. As a result, I have many things that are just sitting around and taking up space. Some of the things you will find here were gifts - more the giver's taste than mine - and are still in the package. OTHER STUFF: Includes, but is not limited to, outgrown children's clothing, unused craft items, accessories or parts for vehicles, remote controlled "big guy" toys, dry natural materials such as pods and burrs -- anything that my family and/or I have either lost interest in or no longer have a use for. USEFUL INFORMATION: Multiple purchases going to the same address are always packed together unless the Buyer wants items sent separately. In the event a Buyer wishes to purchase two or more items, I will be happy to quote S&H charges for combined shipping if Buyer emails with a list of items desired. I strive to get items packed and mailed no later than 24 hours after I have received payment and a shipping address.
