The props sold on ebay are designed and built by me. The raw materials are 90% Dumpster diving 10% purchased parts. Three props that I currently sell are suggestions from folks who liked what I have done. How did I get started selling these props on line? Well I was clearing out the garage after building a Time Machine prop for a production for 2004 Worldcon in Boston. I thought some junk might look cool for a mad scientist lab. The first item sold for over 100.00 and took ten minutes to make. I was sold!!! Now I make three to five items a week and post them on Sundays. Although I am discovering some folks buy the props as display pieces or to help show off a collections. I have had one buyer who won an Electrode for her sons 21^st birthday Cake!
