Hi My name is JoAnne Fajack and I am the Artist and designer for My Primitivehome I have been doing Hooked Rugs and FolkArt items for many years now. I love creating and designing items for my customers. Seeing their faces when they see the finished product. I do rugs for homes with the colors of their choices and love doing this. I did a large rug for a customer's living room which was a very large job but it took me over 6 months to complete but the finished work was awesome. I also love creating dolls and santas and bears which I have a collections of bears, myself. I love vintage santas and collect them as well. My passion is hooking. This came about when a special friend of mine had a small kit which she didn't want and gave it to me way back in the 70's and it became an addition which I still have to this day. I hook and hook and more hooking. I have had problems with my wrists which I keep wrapped when I hook but it hasen't stopped me yet. I just love to work on my own designs.
