OUT OF TOWN DATES: I am going to Hollister, CA from Oct. 2-4th for my grandsons first birthday. I will leave my store on vacation hold during that time and will ship all items paid for while I am gone the next day after my return. Thanks so very much for your patience and understanding! Have a wonderful fun and God blessed day! Jan
SUNDAYS: Because Sunday is "Church" day for me you may not receive emails from me until after 1:00.
STAMP CATEGORIES:
I try to list all my stamps into their maker and style. Occasionally a stamp comes along that fits more than just 2 categories so I will not do the maker and list it under 2 different style categories. If the maker is PSX, Penny Black, Stampin Up, Holly Pond Hill and a few others I will always do the maker and 1 style. Please don't look only at the maker for a particular stamp as it might not show up there.
CLEANING OF MY STAMPS:
I use Judi Kins Permanent Ink remover. It seems to work better than any other kind I have used. I often spend way to much time cleaning even one stamp but it is very important to me that you get a stamp that is in "ready to use" condition. Trust me, if you get a stamp that looks overrun with ink it isn't going to get any better. I have done my best. If you do get a stamp you are able to clean better than what I have done please email me and let me know what you did. I would love to know!
PACKAGING:
I package my parcels with care in an attempt to insure they survive the Post Office and arrive at your door in a timely fashion with no damage. I take the time to wrap your packing slip around the stamps, if I can, then wrap them in clear wrap to hold them all tightly together. They are then put in a bubble wrap envelope.
If your stamps are in a priority envelope they will be carefully package so they do not tear the packaging and fall out. I can get a lot of stamps in one of these wonderful envelopes!
SHIPPING TIMES:
I try to ship all US shipments the same or next shipping day after payment. I have a wonderful "big blue box" about a mile from me and it is easy to take all my US shipments there on a daily basis. The only exception are flat rate boxes which will not fit in through the slot, :-).
I ship all US flat rate boxes and all international packages 2-3 times a week. It is a 20 minute drive to the nearest Post Office and with gas the way it is I try to time my trips carefully. I will never go more than 4 business days without making shipments, usually no more than 2.
HANDLING FEES:
I charge $.75 (75 cents) above actual cost of shipping on single item shipped purchases. Why do I charge a handling fee? Well, it takes me a lot of time to make sure I package your items in a manner where your item is protected from harm at the Post Office. The bubble and large envelopes are not free and neither are the shipping labels I use. Then there is the paper, ink, clear wrap, electricity and on and on, not to mention the gas to take them to the Post Office. Bottom line, there are expenses that have to be covered. The majority of my stamps don't sell for much so my profit margin is very small. Now if you buy a lot of stamps my handling fee is only $1.00 no matter how many stamps are in the package. So like they say, the more you buy the more you save, :-). Same holds true for my other craft items, not just stamps. The next time you make a purchase and think I charge too much in handling fees please remember I am one person trying to make a living just like everyone else. Unless you are buying from an Amazon type business you will pay a lot more than actual shipping charges. Please think about it before giving me less than 5 stars for my shipping and handling fees. Thank you.
SHIPPING CALCULATIONS FOR COMBINED AND ONE ITEM SHIPPING:
US First Class Single item purchases: Actual shipping cost + $.18 (delivery confirmation required by Paypal) + $.75 = Total amount charged.
US First Class multiple item purchases per package: Actual shipping cost + $.18 (delivery confirmation required by Paypal) + $1.00 no matter how many items are in the package, 2-200, it doesn't matter as long as they all fit. :-).
US Priority Single item purchases: Actual shipping cost (delivery confirmation is free) + $.75 = Total amount charged.
US Flat Rate Envelope: $4.95 + $1.00 handling = $5.95 total no matter how many items are in the package.
International First Class: It is more difficult to get the actual amount but it is calculated as close as I can get it. The way I charge is exactly the same but there is no delivery confirmation for first class or priority. When you get your package and it is off by a few cents please forgive the error as it is never intentional; If it is a large amount bring it to my attention and I will issue a refund for the added cost.
International Priority to all Countries not in a Flat Rate Envelope or Box varies by weight and destination but handling charges are still the same as above.
International Flat Rate Priority Envelope Canada:$10.95 + $1.00 = total cost of $11.95 no matter how many items are in the envelope.
International Flat Rate Priority Box Canada: $25.95 + $1.00 = total cost of $26.95 no matter how many items are in the box.
International Flat Rate Priority Envelope to all other countries: $12.95 + $1.00 = total cost of $13.95 no matter how many items are in the envelope.
International Flat Rate Priority Box to all other countries $41.95 + $1.00 = total cost of $42.95 no matter how many items are in the box.
NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: You are responsible for all custom fees when your package arrives in your country. It is up to you to know what the rules are for where you live, not me. If you require special handling of your package from me I will be happy to do so but you must make this request before your item is shipped. DO NOT return your items because you decide you do not want to pay the fees once the package arrives as you will NOT receive a refund. Thank you.
If you are still confused by all this please email me and I will try again to explain it, :-).
