I collect Singer Goodies!
From Singer Sewing Machines to Memorabilia, Attachments to Accessories, the Odd, the Unusual and the Very Hard to Find.
I research what I collect and then present the item for auction knowing that you are bidding on something working, intact, described for the purpose it was intended or even demonstrated in pictures.
My Mother is my Quality Control Lady! She checks the attachments over for breaks or bends, applies them to her little 1938 Singer Featherweight 221 or her Singer 301a and runs them through their paces. If it doesn't work, if it is broken or heavily rusted it gets trashed! You will never see it in my listings!

That's my Mom doing Quality Control!

Click to join Singer-Attachments About the Discussion Group ~ Today, there is a passionate effort to collect Singer Attachment Treasures (which are no longer manufactured, have no back up service and are not easily replaced), use them, keep them, repair & maintain them in order to expand the remarkable stitching capabilities of their valuable Singer Sewing Machine as seamstresses (or seamsters) or collectors. This effort has become a national and international pastime. This discussion group is focused on assisting the owner in correct use, repair & maintenance of Singer Sewing Machine Attachments and Accessories.
Accessories are Singer goods which do not attach to the presser bar. Examples would be such as the Singer Flat Work Darner, the Singercraft Rugmaking Guide, The Underbraider, Shirring Plate, etc, manufactured from the early 1920's up until the late 1960's for Singer Straight Stitch Sewing Machines. Our forum, Singer Attachments hopes to support the owner and user of these wonderful inventions and hopes to attract like minded individuals willing to share their experience and knowledge. April1930s and I hope you will find a place here, offer your knowledge, enjoy shared knowledge and continue to participate as polite and considerate members of Singer Attachments!

A little about who I am and what I do and what I used to do!
I lived in Australia for 28 years. I ran a business there called "The Ladies Workshop". I sold patchwork and quilting supplies, taught patchwork and quilting and made some great friends (just like I am doing on eBay)!
I wrote for Down Under Quilts which was the only national Australian quilting magazine at that time. I also wrote how-to articles and designed quilts for Better Homes & Gardens Crafts Series (The Best of Handmade ~ Australia).
I am a nurse and I work full time. Sometimes my eBay business gets tangled up with my other job and I hope you will understand if I am not able to reply to your questions quickly. I take every question seriously and if I don't have the answer I will take time to find it or someone who knows the answer! Note to Sellers: Sellers, please, don't ask me to do YOUR research homework!
Between my Mother and myself we have 100 years of sewing knowledge and experience! ...and we are still learning!
Repeat buyers have built my business and my reputation. Providing good eBay business to my buyers has made my business strong! My sincere thanks to all buyers, you make being an eBay Seller challenging and FUN!!
