We are a family business based in the north of England but we ship worldwide to customers across the United States, Australia, Japan and Europe, as well as in the UK.

STORE POLICIES

Here at CJ Antiques, we aim to make payment and shipping as simple and fast as possible.  Please note that all UK and other European Union purchases except gold coins are subject to VAT at 17.5%.  We ship worldwide but shipping rates vary according to weight and insurance so please wait for an invoice before sending payment.

Payment

For US buyers we prefer PayPal eChecks in US dollars. We also accept money orders/cashiers cheques, bank transfers, and PayPal in US dollars only from buyers with confirmed status.  Please note that we are unable to accept personal cheques from US buyers.

For UK buyers we prefer PayPal eCheques in US dollars. We also accept sterling money orders/cashiers cheques, personal cheques, bank transfers, Nochex (UK only), and PayPal in US dollars only from buyers with confirmed status.

Please note that all UK and EU purchases except gold coins are subject to VAT at 17.5% and that this is added to your winning bid or to the Buy It Now price at the end of the auction.  There is no VAT for purchases made by buyers in the US or in any other countries outside the European Union.

Shipping

We ship worldwide and we prefer to ship insured. Rates quoted on the item listings are for the US. For UK and other EU buyers, we will notify you of shipping rates at the end of the auction. Our rates are reasonable and are based on the cost of the postage and insurance with a minimal packing fee that covers our costs.  Please note that if you wish to use PayPal, we can only use fully insured shipping (sorry – no exceptions). 

Typical rates for the UK are from £2.00 for Recorded or from £5.00 for Special Delivery. Typical rates for overseas buyers are from U$4 uninsured or from U$10 insured. Please wait for an invoice before making payment as shipping rates will depend on your country, the weight of the package and the level of insurance required.

With CJ Antiques, your satisfaction is guaranteed and you can be confident that both our descriptions and photos are always completely honest.  In the unlikely event that a mistake is made, we will take whatever action is required to resolve the issue openly and without prejudice.
