I started quilting in 1991 and was instantly addicted! I had wanted to sew since taking 7th grade Home Ec. I have always loved fabric. Now, along with making quilts I collect quilts, fabric, old linens, and especially handkerchiefs. Recently I have been making vintage-style embroidered and tinted quilts. My original Barbie Quilt was juried into the World Quilt and Textile show. I have had two designs in Quiltmaker magazine.

I also am a compulsive reader (B.A. in English) and buy too many books... collect Tyler Wentworth dolls...collect sheet music to play on my piano and pump organ...and enjoy geneological research. My house is filled with family heirlooms.
