I always wanted to have my own Internet business and a year ago I began selling on eBay. I have an undergraduate degree from the Wharton School ( I was one of the first women graduates in 1968) and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. I am a Certified EBay Educational Specialist and am authorized to teach how to buy and sell on eBay and well as offer Educational Credits for the course. I would like to share what I have learned with others and empower them to have their own Internet business.

I love eBay and I love having my eBay auctions and store. I love every aspect of this business. Finding the items and then putting them up in my store-wrapping them ( it reminds me of wrapping Christmas presents on a big ping pong table when I was 5 with my mother) - sending them as I sit at my desk and stamp the date on the labels( this brings back my playing office when I was 10 with my friends, stamping and stapling make believe things) Most importantly I love speaking to my clients from all over the world. There isn't any aspect of this I don’t like. I only wish there were more hours in the day, as I don't want to go to sleep because I love researching auctions and finding items to sell!

I'm 60 years old and have traveled all over the world making documentary movies with my husband Leigh Wharton. He wrote- directed - edited and filmed all his 38 movies. His topics ranged from ending hunger in third world countries (Edge of Survival), which is in my eBay store to movies for Orbis in Africa where they fly into countries to teach the local doctors new techniques of eye surgery aboard their own plane - which is also a surgical lab. To climbing Mt Everest (only to the base camp) with Sir Edmond Hilary filming the hospitals and schools he created in Nepal. I did the second camera for the movies, which usually aired on PBS in the US.

Leigh is now working on a movie on Mother Teresa. He was fortunate to have spent 10 days with her in Calcutta, India and was privileged to be allowed to film her and her work with the destitute and dying. She never let anyone film her and she said he was "chosen by God to spread her word of love to the world"

After traveling all over the world I am content to stay at home and sell on eBay. I am very happy with my eBay store and love selling to you. My most important concern is that you are happy with what you purchase. I go 110 percent for each and every customer.
