I always dreaded putting together an "ABOUT ME" page as I consider us just normal folks, just like everyone else on Ebay....

Our Ebay beginning was as buyers -- we host several genealogy web sites and were always looking for books, maps, old photos, postcards, etc. from the different counties throughout the country that we host.  And it was shortly afterwards that Ebay became a means to financially support the volunteer sites we love and host. 

And SYNERGISTIC ONLINE is our online store.  A recent feedback compared us to a shopping experience at NORDSTROM'S -- if this is so, it is due to our merchandise co-ordinator, AKA "Hubby", who hand selects all the merchandise personally, making sure that only first quality merchandise is offered for sale.   Being a third-generation international exporter, if it doesn't pass his keen eye for details, it doesn't get sold here.  We are truly enjoying the Ebay experience, having met so many nice "kindred spirits" from all over the world.

And when I'm not answering emails or designing ads/graphics, I'm working away on the many genealogy sites we host.  Having worked for years as the Assistant Director of one of the largest genealogy FHC's in New England, I still answer questions and post pages of raw data, enabling our visitors to research the various counties and never having to leave their armchairs.  Although I no longer teach classes and seminars, this is my way of helping researchers throughout the world trace their family roots -- and from the comforts of their own homes.  My areas of so called "expertise" <and I say that with a BIG chuckle & grin!!!> are Midwest, New England, Germany, Poland, and Canadienne French -- I don't claim to have all the answers, and when I don't, I can send you in the right direction -- so feel free to ask!
