The Scope and Goal of My eBay Business This is my little theological bookstore on eBay. I am the Director of the Library at The Master's Seminary and also the Director of our Israel Studies Program. I always thought that if I had a little side business it would be running a bookstore. Of course eBay makes it a lot easier (no rent to pay!). I got started at this a couple of years ago and since have built a nice little enterprise. The scope of my business is to make books, mainly related to theological and Biblical studies, available; although I occasionally will sell other little odds and ends and sometimes books that are outside of that scope. My goal is to provide honest descriptions of the items and the best service on eBay to my customers. A little disclaimer: I don't always agree with the theological constructs represented in the books I sell and I occasionally sell non-Christian religious works. Please don't accuse me of spreading heresy (as some of the more well-meaning brethern have occasionally done)! There are works that are simply necessary for research and other materials that are important. I am not shy about stating in the descriptions of the materials what the books are about and the buyers are on their own at that point! One other little thing. I very rarely use "Buy It Now" and I don't end my auctions early. You're welcome to ask, but I almost always will very nicely refuse :-) A Little About Me Besides running the library at the seminary, I also teach a few classes and have an outside ministry of church consulting and interim pastoring. I have been the interim pastor in about 20 different churches in the last 20 years or so. I have helped churches find new pastors, write new constitutions, form new ministry objectives and even merge with other like-minded works.
