Welcome! I am a partially self-taught and partially formally educated painter and artist from the Midwest. I like to paint realism and impressionistic landscapes to convey the feeling of the scene or the animals that I am portraying through my brush. All my work is done with drawings and sketchings from photos that I have taken and are all done from beginning to end with brush strokes and layers of color. These paintings sometimes take me many hours depending on the size and detail involved. I am grateful for the ability to create these scenes and bring them to you through my paintings.
