Could you guess which one was me in the picture??? I'm the one on the left end -- NOT smiling!
I have always loved crafting and for years I have been selling my work somewhere. Whether it was plaster craft, china painting, ceramics, cloth dolls, or primitives, I've always found an outlet to support my crafting habits.
For several years now, I have been selling on Ebay, doing craft shows, and wholesaling to small shops and boutiques. So much of my time has been spent on making the Victorian collages using old lace, linens, appliques, along with sayings for just about any occasion you can think of.
My angels are made from old quilts, quilt tops, and linens, hankies, etc. These have kept me very busy trying to keep up with demand.
But my first love has always been the Primitive style, mainly because it reminds me of a more simple, slower time. I've tried to take otherwise torn and stained and useless items and turn them into something that will remind us all of times gone by.
I am a Christian, I love God, and try to reflect that in all that I do. I love to write poetry that is meaningful and have tried to incorporate this into my crafts. You will find many of these writings on my tags, in my Victorian Collages, etc.
Please take the time to look through my auctions and my store. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask!
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, a plan not for evil but for good, a plan with a future and a hope."
This is a sample of one of my primitive stitcheries using an old tablecloth with vintage embroidery. I stitched the saying, mounted the piece on a backing, added some embellishments and a frame.
Please take the time to visit my blog, Hidden Riches from Secret Places. This is a place that I share my ideas, thoughts, my past, and my present. Thanks so very much!
