WHY DEAL WITH NICK'S COOLLECTABLES? I've been a coollector all my life and have bought and sold records and other collectables for over 26 years. I like to treat people just as I would like to be treated, with respect and honesty! I attempt to detail everything in my item descriptions and have adapted the GOOD ROCKIN' TONIGHT grading system (visual) for the most part (PLEASE CHECK OUT THE GRADING LISTED BELOW). If I see any imperfections (like feelable scratches) that might cause a problem during playback I will play that record to determine if it affects the music and will make note of that in my description. All records are vacuum cleaned prior to shipment. I use top quality shipping items and remove the record from the cover. Hey, sometimes I screw up, but not to worry. GRADING:
MINT: No noticeable imperfections (I rarely use this grade unless it is old store stock)
NEAR MINT: Most of my vinyl will grade here under the assumption that it has been minimally played before and very well cared for
VG++: Vinyl may have a few noticeable imperfections, mostly superficial scuffs, it must have its gloss It might play with some very light surface noise but nothing distracting.
VG+: Vinyl has noticeable but not major imperfections, may play with some surface noise but does not impede the sound
VG: Vinyl has several moderate and/or one or two major flaws, gloss may not be evident. Disc will play with surface noise but the music is not overwhelmed
GOOD to VG-: Vinyl has major imperfections will play with noise but no skips --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
