A little about me
Hi there and thank you for visiting my All About Me page. I am a hard working mother of three very beautiful daughters. I'm very proud of the accomplishments we've made in these past few years.
I still work in the school district as a special education teaching assistant. I currently work with 7th & 8th grade students.
Our family of three has now grown into a family of 5. My two daughters and I have been so blessed to have Tim in our lives. The love in this house grew tenfold since our wedding. We've also added a baby to the family. She is a beautiful combination of Tim and I, his round face and my red hair, she has blue eyes too. A real knock out.
Together we are raising our girls with strong values, intelligence, love, kindness for others and to have pride and confidence within themselves. They are so very happy here.
A little about my girls
My daughters are awesome kids.
My oldest has been a model student in school. She has straight A's all this school year and is a reading and story writing fanatic. She's artistically and musically talented too. She is a horse lover as well. This year she has joined choir and has also taken on a national competition to write a 30,000 word novel in one month, and is doing it with no problem.
My youngest is also a straight A student in school. She still has it set in her head that she is going to be a famous country singer. She loves to dance and sing her little heart out. She too has joined choir this year.
And our baby is just plain happy as long as she's driving all of us nuts. She has already celebrated her first birthday and boy did she love her cake. She got so excited she decided to clap her hands... and spray frosting all over.
I am truly blessed beyond all to have such treasures in my children.
A little about my husband
My husband is an amazing man. We've known each other for 4 years now, married 1 and we have never had an argument. We love to laugh. He is so supportive, caring and loving. We fit together perfectly. I didn't believe such a thing as soul mates, but I now know I was wrong. He and I have Irish Eternity bands we wear. No matter what happens in life, we will be together for all eternity, in each other's lives, minds, hearts, souls.
As you can see from our picture, it's a little unsusal for a wedding. We didn't want a traditional wedding so we decided to have FUN! On November 17, 2007 we were married as Jedi Knights... to be exact he was Luke Skywalker and I was MaraJade. The characters were actually married in the book series and yes, MaraJade had red hair also. But I think Tim really looks like ObiWan though. Our wedding was held at the reception hall. We spent all night decorating with those arches and fall vines and everything else... it took 5 hours I think. Our guests all wore costumes. We had a costume ball wedding. To this day, everyone still talks about it and when they want to remember a specific person they will say, "you remember he was dressed like...". It was great! Our baby was born 3 weeks before the wedding, she came down the isle behind my youngest daughter, pulled in the Millennium Falcon dressed as Yoda. During the ceremony our justice of the peace asked "if there is anyone who thinks these two should not be joined speak now or forever hold your peace", at that point the Darth Vador theme music started and Darth Vador stormed into the hall. We had 4 Jedi's in our wedding party and they went out onto the dance floor and battled Darth Vador with lightsabers. Darth Vador defeated them all, sooo Luke Skywalker (my husband) stepped in, battled him and defeated him so the wedding could continue on. It was PRICELESS!
