ABOUT ME : I had a successful Couture Salon in Washington DC for over 20 years & created made to order clothing for our clients. We traveled all over the world to buy wonderful things. I hope you find these delightful as well.
Dear Crafters & People recreating historic garments : I respect that you are trying to create accurate period garments or processing fabric to do creative unusual things. Please use sites that sell authentic, unprocessed & accurate fabrics . Fashion fabrics are different than craft fabrics. Yarns could be resin or wax coated or processed in ways to enhance sheen or behavior. I do not test any of the fabrics by burning, soaking or boiling. I only describe them to the extent of my knowledge. If you have a question, please ask BEFORE buying.
Samples OR Swatches There is a $5 swatch fee per swatch. Sorry I can't swatch most of my single cut fabrics.
Discount requests: Please remember I have had to pay for the fabric, Ebay listing & Final value fees, paypal fees, shipping bags, tape, shipping & transportation costs . If I am lucky, I get to clear 18-22%. On a fabric of $60 that adds up to approx $ 12.
PLEASE stop asking me for a discount..If you can find it cheaper elsewhere , buy it & enjoy your find ! Just like you, I am just trying to get by.

Very Important Note : Each monitor shows colors differently ! It looks perfect on mine, but different on yours. Please read my description, I try to tell you honestly what I think the color is. If color matching is a crucial criteria please shop at your neighborhood fabric store ! They'll be happy & you will too.

For over 25 years we designed a 'Made to Order' Couture collection we sold through our Salon in the Nations Capital, Washington DC ! We used exquisite fabrics like French, Italian, Swiss & English Silks, Cottons, Cashmeres & Wools. French Laces, Hand Embroidered & beaded fabrics as well as 'One of a Kind' handwoven textiles we designed with the collaboration of a designer Weaver !
We've closed the Salon but still have a TON of the wonderful fabrics, trims etc left. So we're selling these off at a greatly reduced price thru our website, Ebay auctions & an Ebay store. Everything is limited to the quantities shown, so move quickly or someone else may get what you like .
We also collected Crystal, Porcelains, Antique music boxes, Vienna bronzes, St. Silver boxes & figurines. We're selling these off too thru Ebay auctions and another website we created for our antiques & collectibles.
