The 1970's brought us better black & white, color and high speed films. Advanced camera technology made photography easier to master with accurate built-in metering attracting many hobby and amateur photographers. Nikon introduced the F2 which is now known to be the last hand assembled professional SLR. It's considered by most, the best functioning and reliable mechanical SLR camera ever produced and still a favorite of many photographers and collectors today!

Note: Most Manual Nikon Lenses will mount on Digital Nikon SLR's but in full manual mode with a lens focal length of about 1.5 X, e.g. 20mm would be 30mm, 200mm would be 300mm, 500mm would be 750mm and so on. The Newest Digital Nikon SLR's can use these same manual lenses at their set focal lengths, technology made easy!
