| All my artistic energy as a painter has been poured into the production and sale of family style portraits, land and seascapes. I've always been goal oriented in achieving a likeness for each commission and for accuracy especially in the underlying drawing, but I guess my personal painting style thankfully still gets in the way. During the last few years however, because of the internet, blogging and as the painting-a-day phenomena hit the stage, something else is going on and so, I'm changing course and heading into the wind. This painting adventure is like being in a lifeboat on a rough sea. ..just bobbing around in circles and enjoying the ride. nlarkinart.com and ninapaints.blogspot.com are two websites displaying portraiture and painting a day. |
