Cat's Meow Gifts is a family-run business. It all started because the many cats who live in the household needed something beneficial to keep them off the streets and out of trouble. They needed something that would help build their somewhat dubious characters and transform them into respectable members of the community. No longer was it acceptable for them to spend their days playing poker and their nights drinking beer. They needed a purpose in their lives! With this in mind, Cat's Meow Gifts was born. And now, Smokey is the CEO cat, while Bustapher and Riley supervise the shipping crew. Kitaro, who has always loved being on the computer, is the head bookkeeper, while Sonny, Cher, and Minty head up the quality control team. The younger, smaller cats have chores, too, and everyone has a job in the store. Cat's Meow Gifts has given our cats a "new lease on life," and they no longer waste their time partying and carousing the neighborhood. We are saddened that on January 18, 2007, Bob, the first CEO of Cat's Meow Gifts, crossed the Rainbow Bridge due to renal failure. He is greatly missed, but all of the cats have pulled together to keep his vision for Cat's Meow Gifts alive.
| Then the dogs became family members (much to the chagrin of the cats who wish they would leave)! Now Sharlie, Sally Jo, and Pokey have the responsibility for running the canine products division. You don't see many dog products listed? That's because the dogs are not as efficient as the cats, and they haven't gotten their inventory listed in a timely manner. They did list some of the beds (only because it was convenient to snooze on them), but they are still playing with the toys to see which ones work the best! We have high hopes that soon the dogs will "get down to business" and get all of the canine products listed. Until then, we ask for your patience! |
