We enjoy many Customers in Asia & Europe. A new customer from Spain excited about his 14-32 Shimano Freewheel for the steep climbs of Madrid had the following nice words to say after I wrote (in beginning Spanish) to say thanks & discuss road cycling in Spain:

I love the Vuelta a España, Giro d'Italia and Le Tour de France, but i am a simply "ciclo-touriste". I have two bikes, one for ciclotourisme (24 speed) and a folding bike for commuting. The freewheel is for the conmuting bike, an old (30 years) and heavy european single speed folding bike customized to be a lightweight 10-speed commuter; with alluminium bmx professional aero-rim wheels, hand-made custom stem, alluminium hand made long seat post, allu handlebar, double ultra-light Omega chainwheel (by Campagnolo) with folding pedals, 5 speed freewheel, Grip-shift levers and hallogen dynamo-lights. The actual freewheel is a 14-28; in Spain is impossible to buy greater 5 speed cogs, and Madrid is a hard hilly town!

July 14, 1944 - February 3, 2008

BIOGRAPHY: Sheldon was employed as the "Parts Manager, Webmaster and general Tech Guru" of Harris Cyclery, a bike shop in West Newton, Massachusetts. He was an enthusiast for many old and unlikely forms of bicycles and cycling including Raleigh and their English three-speed bicycles, the Sturmey-Archer hub in general, tandems, and in particular FIXED GEAR cycles. He repaired cameras, and was an accomplished amateur photographer and his site is well illustrated with his own work.

Occasionally during the season, let us all celebrate the beautiful life of one of the Great ones of sport...Marco Pantani. This page notice is in sincere tribute to Marco & in solemn recognition of his career achievements, and his recent, premature, & tragic death. Marco was a legendary road cyclist. This loss saddens the cycling world.
