Hello And Welcome To Noras-Nest
A Very Warm Welcome To Noras-Nest
At Noras-Nest you will find a friendly sanctuary where Mother Nature is honored, respected and adored along with her many aspects. She is a very important part of ours lives and it's nice to recognize and respect her nurturing ways.
Read or listen to Eckhard Tolle's "The New Earth" or Gregg Braden's "The Divine Matrix" for some real eye-openers....and contact me with books you feel are important to read. I am always interested.
I'm going to try and list every week. I have decided that my earthly goods have served me long enough and that many of them must now move on.
I look forward to dancing together and making new friends. I've already met some of the nicest people here.
About My Bags...
The bags I make are for personal items that the caretaker feels
will be kept safe and sound and may help to empower their goals, and
aspirations. But they have had other uses too. Some people have purchased them for the visiting tooth fairy, to house sewing needles, gum, keys, to hang from their car mirrors, to celebrate their daughter's first moon time, to tuck jewelry into for gifts or just as gifts in general. I have been honored to learn some of my bags are used in sacred ceremonies and even taken on vision quests.
If you are ever unhappy with anything that you buy from me it is returnable, with a money back guarantee as long as it is returned in the condition it was sent in. In the future I will be making all types of Earthy and Goddess Jewelry, Tarot Bags, Rune Bags, Celtic Bags, Ipod Cases, Goddess Gourds, and selling gently used/new books and clothing, and unique and unusual things I find along the way. There will be a nest of goodies to choose from!
On a side note here incase you are curious, I am not Native American or profess to be and none of my crafts are Native American made, produced, or of a particular Native American tribe.
About The Crafter...
The story goes that I was born in a cabbage patch in the unreasonable month of March during a prehistoric year. A breech birth with the adornment of my umbilical cord wrapped around my neck. They say I was all choked up about coming back. However, I landed square on my feet and never missed a beat.
I have a typically standard education majoring in the unfamiliar but
accustomed to random acts of kindness and care. My artistic ability comes in
between spiritual emergencies and dry spells. I am not drought tolerant. I
have few probing insights into the deeper meaning of life, seem unsuccessful
in recovering lost parts of myself, and need to Feng Shui my bathroom.
I am relatively harmless though given to full blown fits of passion
including mental wanderings into untamed regions during the waxing and
waning of the moon.
I am basically a restless soul whose discordant magnetic field has, on occasion, briefly aligned me with reality. I tend toward the metaphysical but keep a ‘who says so’ attitude. I like the riddle ….why was six afraid of seven? Because seven eight nine…my math background is weak. ….
I can be loving and carefree or moody and feisty depending on the weather or
what is on Animal Planet. I always have the same hair day. I believe
that everyone has the right to my opinion.
In spite of all my misunderstood traits, good intentions, and sense of smell and taste I still require Coffee Blast (can be found at Trader Joe's).
I escape when ever possible into the world of creativity where I can put my heart and soul into what I do and dance the night away. I can usually be reached by standing up straight, clicking your heels three times and
repeating, “There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home” or you can e-mail me. Which ever is easier.
I am also a slave to five cockatiels and can not be held accountable. They run my life, make my decisions and drive me crazy, and I love them.
Aside from the crafts I make I will be selling books, clothes, statues, and things I come across that want new homes.
