Norma Brink Glass Arts is located in Belmont, Michigan. My interest in glass began with stained glass. I discovered glass beadmaking nearly 7 years ago and for the last 6 years I have been working exclusively with borosilicate glass. I find boro fascinating because of it's never-ending color possibilities and depth.
Creating, assembling and marketing the bead sets is a lot of work. I could never do it without the help of my tremendous assistant (and wonderful friend) Ann. She takes a mass of beads, meticulously cleans them, sorts them and then arranges them into the sets that you see for sale on EBAY. After they are arranged into sets they receive one more deep cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner so you are sure to receive a sparkling set of beads when you open your package from Norma Brink Glass Arts.
I photograph all of the completed bead sets that you see posted on EBAY and Ann takes the bead sets home and manages the EBAY listings, sales and shipping while I create more beads for the next week's listings.

Who am I when I'm not melting glass? I'm a wife (30 years!). My husband is very tolerant of my obsession - even more so since I now sell all the beads that I make! I have two beautiful grown daughters, and a wonderful son-in-law and a brand new grandson! I'm a recovering lawyer (long story), musician and a competitive amateur ballroom dancer. I also love boating, photography, sewing, bird-watching, scuba diving and snorkling.
