Located in Beautiful Orange center in Western Massachusetts.Conveniently located on Rte 2A, just off rte 2. Our town has a whopping 7500 residents living in a country rural setting. 75 % of all commercial and residential buildings are over 100 years old. Our downtown area buildings date from 1825-1920 in construction with some facade variations that were done up until 1949. The downtown of Orange is an architectural delight that encompasses the Revival Style, American Movement and late Revival Style .

Orange Massachusetts boasts the first State Institutionalized Library system.

In our common we have the only National Peace statue that was erected in Wartime.

Our local airport has the third largest or longest runway in the state.

Orange is home to the annual River Rat Race , a canoe race down the river from Athol to Orange.Started as a bar room bet 50 years ago! Today professional canoeists race the river, we have one day for professionals and one day for anyone who wants to race!

We are the keepers, abutters, respecters and lovers of the Quabbin Reservoir. The Quabbin Reservoir used to be 5 towns,which were flooded to make the reservoir .The reservoir was made to allow clean water for Boston. Orange center is divided North and South by the Millers River. In it's heyday the Millers River was an important part of manufacturing and as many Rivers were used , it was also polluted. Today it is a level C river- Which means you could swim it.

We opened shop in 1988 in a dead town. Over time other shops have opened and now we are full of Antique and Collectible shops. We are not well known to the public because we are a small town in an area that was once depressed. We have gained a successful business over the years through honesty and fair selling prices. Orange is becoming known as the Antique Mecca! We are a small town rich in history. Our store is circa 1872 with tin walls and ceilings, mercury lined glass ceiling lights,leaded glass showroom windows and of course oak window sashes and chair rails.Last December 2002 we embarked on another renovation project with the purchase of a 4 story Brick building circa 1903. We opened our second shop - Main Street Antiques- December 8th.This building has 10 x 10 beams that run floor to ceiling with T tops that support the large cross beams that run the length of the ceiling. Each ceiling has either beadboard or tounge and groove boards.Ceiling height is approx. 12 feet. Interoir and exterior are brick with double arched windows 80 inches tall. Solid wood floors and beadboard wall staircases.Another beautiful antique building in Orange, Massachusetts.
