Hi, My name is Nicole...Obenfermera to all my ebay folks! First let me explain the username. I get all kinds of questions and assumptions in regard to it, which usually include some guy named Ben.

NOPE!

The first two letters (ob) represent my specialty at work. I'm a nurse and work in the Labor and Delivery dept at a local hospital. So the "ob" stands for obstetrics since I'm an obstetrical nurse. The remainder is "enfermera" which is the word for nurse in spanish. I care for quite a few Latino women at work and have learned a fair amount of spanish in the process. It's very rewarding to be able to speak to someone in their own language, especially when they are scared and in pain.  Oh, and I'm sure they appreciate it too, btw!

Ebay is a part time thing for me. I'm addicted to the bidding, whether it be buying OR selling, I can't get enough! When I'm not working at the hospital, I'm usually at home with my 10 year old son. He has CP and is in a wheelchair, so he needs alot of time and attention from me. So we hang out at home alot- He listens to Judge Judy while I obsess over an auction. It's a PEFECT fit!

I seem to have fixated on pretty things here on ebay. Jewelry mostly. Pretty things make me smile, and when I smile, the kid smiles (or laughs!) and those smiles run down AND up hill! I'm talking about those frivolous, absolutely unnecessary things that won't feed you when you're hungry or clothe you when you're cold. But they can provide an inner warmth, a spring in your step and maybe a smidge of self confidence that wasn't there before. Pretty things make you feel prettier just with their presence! Most of my pretty things aren't expensive or even REAL, but they are pleasing to the eye without requiring a major investment or stealing from your grocery money!

Since my world revolves around me and my family (you didn't know?) I buy things that I like. Or random things that I find at a really good price that I'd like for myself or my family. This means that if you and I have dissimilar tastes, you're pretty much out of luck, nothing personal.  But if we like the same pretty things (or you think your customer would) we are GOOD TO GO! I hope you find something here (or elsewhere) that makes you smile!
