My wife "Bonnie" and I began selling on ebay because our collections were out growing our home. You probably have heard the comedic story about buying a bigger house to hold all of your "stuff". I think that is us!:-) We have or had collections of: Art, Barbie, Coins, Clocks, Comics, Depression Glass, Dominoes, Miniatures, Old Cars (real ones) I recently sold my '67 Camaro that my family and I put together from a rolling chassis, Playing Cards, Pin-Up, Poker Chips, Porcelain Dolls, Radios (all types), Records (45 and 78 RPM) and MORE! Well ebay was/is perfect for us. It gave us an outlet. Of course there is the obvious "catch 22", we started buying more too:-).
Bringing you up to date, Bonnie and I had to find another outlet. We have a booth at Pleasant Hill Antique Mall in the Peoria, Illinois area. Yes you guessed it, our hobby has now become a full-time undertaking. I retired from the largest electronic retailer in the U.S. August, 2002 and spend most days and nights searching for unique and quaint "stuff" :-) for neat folks like yourself. Yep, and you may not see it all 'cause we still COLLECT!:-) The bottom-line is, we absolutely enjoy what we do. Bonnie is now working for a national Home Improvement company! Yes, she still helps me quite a bit with ebay and the booth. It has been a pleasure to meet so many Great people! Collectors know how to have FUN! Receiving emails from collectors filled with stories of why someone bought a particular collectable, or how pleased and proud they were to receive something "We" found for them. Well.. it is absolutely rewarding!
And the saga continues :-) As if Bonnie and I didn't have enough to do, we bought an old Mercantile building about 45 minutes outside of Peoria. We bought it primarily to participate in a once a year (2) weekend event called "Spoon River Drive" which takes place during the first 2 weekends of October each year. The drive is where hundreds of dealers set up along the byways and in small communities here in Central Illinois selling crafts antiques and collectables.
As for our positive feedback history, We are very proud of it and we intend to keep this rating. The lower half of this page shows some of our current items listed as well as the last 20 or so of our feedback.

Before You Bid, You Should Know:
I ship via U.S.P.S. typically, Priority Mail.
You can now calculate what the S/H fees would be for your zip code or country within each of our listings. The calculator box can be found at the bottom of each listing. This allows you a method of speedy check out with out having to wait for me to send an invoice:-)
Shipping Handling Insurance and International Bidding
If you are the winning bidder, Please use "Pay Now" even if paying by mail. Doing so creates an automated email to me including your method of payment. It will help us both with follow-up on the transaction.
Ebay's recent rule change will only allow for PayPal in the near future.
My shipping days are typically Tuesday and Friday. All packages ship via U.S.P.S. unless otherwise noted in the listing. I use both Priority and First Class, depending on the type and weight of the item(s) and tracking will be included with either for U.S. destinations. I absolutely do combine shipments on any items where size, weight and or fragility permit.
Virtually all items other than Ephemera (paper items) are wrapped in bubble pack and surrounded with Styrofoam peanuts which is cleaner and "lighter" than newspaper. Silver-plate Flatware, when multiple pieces, will be separated with tissue paper or other material then bubble wrapped.
Insurance is your option, yet should your package be lost, damaged or stolen, there will be no recourse. I package all merchandise with care and pride and I assure you if one of my packages arrives damaged it was absolutely mis-handled and again, without insurance there will be no recourse. If you have any doubt about this, regrettably I must request, Please Do Not Bid.
International Bidders feel free to email for verification of S/H fees. I have shipped many packages internationally and have acquired a pretty large group of International bidders and am Thankful for their business. However, I will not intentionally ship a prohibited item to a foreign country. If an item is prohibited in your country "DO NOT BID!" If a prohibited item is returned to me or held in your country, "your money will not be refunded to you". Please do not ask nor expect me to show a lower price than what you actually paid on the U.S. Customs Form. Any item shipped must be shipped to the address used on your PayPal Account, I can not ship to a different address. Packages mailed internationally will be either First-Class Mail® International, or Priority Mail® International. When possible, such as with 45 RPM records I may ship Priority Mail® Flat Rate Envelope depending on the quantity. Also regarding shipments to Italy, regrettably due to past unfortunate incidences involving Italian destinations, the only way that I will ship any item to Italy is via "Global Express Guaranteed®" and the buyer must also buy insurance for the item. If you want a package shipped to Italy, yet do not agree to these terms, then Please Do Not Bid. All International Payments must be made using PayPal or U.S. Currency. If U.S. Currency, I highly recommend the payment be mailed via "Registered Mail". I will not be held accountable for cash that was lost or stolen.
ITALY Due to the many restrictions from the country of Italy I would ask that you please NOT BID unless I am offering Fountain Pens or 45 rpm, 78 rpm or LP records. Regretabbly the vast majority of collectable items that I offer could very well fall within one of the many Italian restrictions. What's Our Specialty?
Many have asked, Well... We really do not specialize in a particular category. Though I have been collecting, buying and selling Depression Glass since 1969, 19th and 20th century U.S. Coins too. Actually, what we call our specialty is simply finding those unique and quaint collectables and presenting them to you :-)
