Professionally I'm a pilot, beyond flying what I love is working with wood.

I learned to work with my hands by working with my father as I grew up. Creating something using wood became a passion. Around the house its cabinets, bookcases, home improvements. For sheer joy I make custome writing instruments (pens) using rare and exotic woods from around the world, free-form jewelry boxes and lots of miscellaneous gifts for friends and family. ofRealWood comes from an inside joke, after building my boys beds I was told they looked like they were made "of real wood".

Most everything I make has no plans beyond what is in my mind (jumbled though it may  be at times). Often I will look at a piece of fine wood for weeks or longer until it simply strikes me as to what that piece is intended to be.

Having built many things for friends and family I've been encouraged to share my God-given talents by offering some of my work with more people - thus enter eBay. I am actively involved in Habitat For Humanity, and a portion of my proceeds go to supporting this valuable institution to provide quality homes for deserving, struggling families.
