Hello! I have always been dabbling in art since I was a young child. I used to climb up to the attic to create my "masterpieces", and was encouraged by parents, family and friends to pursue this talent. I grew up in Upper Arlington, OH and attended UAHS (class of 1989). Often, I had some training from local artists. I received my Business Degree from Miami University (Oxford) with a minor in Art History. And so it went, there was no time for Art. After little city jobs and big city jobs, I married and am a stay-at-home mom with four children. I am finally able to rekindle a lifelong passion - Painting. And I've missed it!
When painting, I always try to incorporate colors that are "pretty" and you will probably never see a sky without at least a hint of sunshine! I critique my paintings with "now would I want that in my house?" I will never sell a painting that I would not want to keep for myself. The Master Impressionists are my favorite: Renoir, Monet and Pissaro. I am continually trying to improve myself and I paint nearly every day as Picasso once prescribed. I would love to hear from you about what subject matter you like to see painted.
I have had artwork in Sewickley, PA and in Cleveland Heights, OH gallery currently in a decorating store in Columbus, OH. Someday I hope to open my own gallery. I often donate a series of paintings to local schools or clubs for fundraising auction nights. My work is in private collections and corporations all over the Nation and Internationally: Australia, Paris, Japan, Italy, Germany, S. Korea, England, Ireland, Slovokia, Cypris, China, Spain, Canada, British Columbia and more. My prices (determined by auctions) have increased nearly 400% since I began four years ago. I do hope they will someday be more valuable for you.
A Great "Thank You" to all of my customers on Ebay! To all of you who bring my art into your homes and give me positive feedback and compliments. Your emails of praise simply make my day. And your confidence in my artistry makes me want to continually improve. It has been a childhood dream of mine to sell my art to others. I could never have gotten this far without YOU!
