My 4x8 Baby TUBTRACK

Well...Where to start.....I got my first taste for HO cars around 1972 And after getting my first car , That was It...I was hooked..I started racing in weekly races,then I started helping out at the Huber Heights Hobby Shop, Here in Huber Heights Ohio, and on occassion, at the owners ,husbands store in Vandalia Ohio, called Imperial Raceway,where we also raced 1/24th scale cars on a KING track.By 1974, I got a spare Tubtrack from the owner for $75.00 that was leaning against the side of their house, and put it in a spare bedrooom in my house, leaving about 12" all around it to walk.
In 1976 my first daughter was born, and there went my spare room, and my Tubbie. I worked on C.B radios and stereos for 7 yrs.,then 18 yrs. in X-ray, and By 2001, I was going from Burbank California to Newark New Jersey to Agfa Medical Film schools to study Lasers, MRI, and CT film handlers.......Memorial weekend 2001, I medically retired.. After a year or so on my back, I started getting on the computer,doing my Geneology, then I got back into HO cars....I got on E-bay about 7 years ago, and started selling my inventory of X-ray items I had stored over a period of years when I came upon H.O's again.Now...My granddaughter and I race each other on my 4 LANE TOMY track I built on a 4x8 sheet of waferboard that's hinged & folds up to the wall in the family room,when we're done,and becomes a Tapestry,that's tacked on the back.The computers right here also,so while racing,I'm also on E-bay selling cars, track, and accessories. As,I didn't get hurt,at work,this is my only source of income... I had 3 eppidurals in November 2006, and I felt better,but got real bad in April 2007, and had my spine operated on, to remove a herniated disc..It's 2009, and I'm a little better, but my back flairs up regularly,... I can't even sit at the computer very long,or my back will be in severe pain for a couple days and I'll end up in bed, not feeling well enough to get up...If you're in the H.O.
