Kay Witherspoon's Personal Page
 "Focused" AAEA award winning oil painting Welcome I graduated with a B.A. in art education and was a high school art teacher before becoming a magazine art director and illustrator. In 1996 I obtained my master's degree from the University of Colorado in counseling psychology, specializing in counseling the gifted. Although participating in regional and national art competitions over a 20 year period, I became a full time professional artist in 1998. I paint in the classical traditional style and technique of the old masters.
