The vintage postcards are scanned at a high resol
tion, digitally "cleaned up", and then printed on a high quality photo printer. The resulting print from the vintage postcard is much cleaner and brighter than the original We offer prints in either 8x10 or 12x18 inch sizes and also note cards.

Photographic prints from vintage negatives
All of our prints are made using a professional quality inkjet printer (either HP or Epson) to print our photos. With these printers, and special software, the result is a true gray scale (B&W) photographic print. We use only the manufacturer's inks and professional quality photo paper; the prints have an archival life of at least 50 years when framed behind glass or kept in an archival photo album. This is comparable to a traditional darkroom print. Advantages of the digital prints is that a lot of the flaws in the original negative can be removed and we can also offer a choice of regular B&W or Sepia toned prints. We still make all of our photos from scans of the original vintage negative. Although we feature prints of New York City, we have a large collection of vintage negatives. If you are looking for something in particular, e-mail me. Anything we don't have we will try to find it for you. Of course, "Time freeze text does not appear on your print.

Most prints can be made in sizes up to 24x36 inch, check our web site for details. If you see a print on auction in a size other than that you are interested in, e-mail me.

Prints and Note Cards from Vintage Postcards.

Our note cards are printed on high quality beige linen card stock with an embossed border. They are available in two sizes- 5x7 and 4x 5.5 inch. The cards come with matching envelopes.

We can also make a print or note cards from your favorite postcard.

Photographic equipment.
I also sell photographic equipment. Some items are mine, others I sell for friends. I do my best to have as accurate descriptions as posible. If for any reason you feel that my description was not accurate, you may return the item for a refund.
