We lived in an olde summer kitchen on my in-laws farm for years before we built our home, which is also on the farm's acreage of soybeans, corn and wheat. This summer kitchen was used for all the canning, cooking and baking in the long heated lazy days of summer. The ladies could get their canning and baking done without heating up their big old farmhouse in the days before air conditioning. Nothing worse than a cranky husband coming home after a long sweaty day of work to a hot stinking house.....

My husband and I turned the "kitchen" into a living home and hence became my business name. I have always loved burning candles ....the aromas along w/ the memories they stir up of smells and thoughts of the past. They make a house feel like a home all throughout the year, changing with each season.
