I think I was born in the wrong time or at least lived before in another time.  I know there are a lot of you out there that feel the same way.  We share this passion for old-fashioned clothing, jewelry, furniture and many more things that we collect in this life.  For myself, I've tried for 30 years to turn a 2 story tract house in California into a Victorian home and have almost succeeded (if you squint your eyes! LOL).  I was a retail buyer for a department store that truly gave service to customers like you only hear about today.  I have dabbled in the theater as a costumer for 10 years, trying desperately to give the look and feel of a hundred years ago a life on stage.  But I have moved on.....to finding and sharing beautiful old-fashioned items with the rest of the world with this wonderful community called "Ebay".  Whether it be Victorian, Regency, Civil War, Edwardian or the roaring 20's and fabulous 30's, I want you get the look and feel for the era.  I love getting and writing emails from my customers, and giving you that warm feeling of time gone by in an old-fashioned Mercantile store.  So keep on emailing and sending me pictures of how you've worn or used your merchandise, I love to hear and see it all.  And most of all, give me suggestions of the kind of merchandise you would like to see here at Old Mill Mercantile.  I aim to please!   Great talking with you,  Jean
