The Old Print Shop founded in 1898 in lower Manhattan, has been in its current location, 150 Lexington Avenue, since 1925. The owners, Kenneth M. Newman and his two sons Robert K. Newman and Harry S. Newman are second and third generation art dealers. Robert's son, Brian R. Newman representing the fourth generation is also working in the gallery.
The shop specializes in American prints 1750 to 1950, contemporary printmakers and photographers, antiquarian maps and atlases, art reference books, artist books and fine illustrated books. We also have extensive holding in European decorative art and views from the eighteenth and nineteenth-centuries. A visit to our web site or better a visit to the gallery would be rewarding to those interested in American art.
The Old Print Shop is proud of our reputation in the industry. We stand behind our word, buying or selling and have been doing so for generations.
