Old World Pub & Pipe is the NEW meeting place where fine collectibles that have survived the test of time can be found, be they antique or vintage . . . or just something that pleases your eye.

Every collectible has a story: an old saddle that carried someone grandfather while herding cattle; a camel back trunk that accompanied a young immigrant across the Atlantic during the early days of WWI. There are thousands of collectibles out there waiting to be discovered. When I find them, Il bring them to you.

Of all items collected, by me, over the years, it is the briar pipe with which I am most fascinated. Generally the shape will catch my eye then the grain draws me in. What information is stamped on the pipe? With a pipe omenclaturecomes much of its history. When at all possible I will share that history with you.

Many of today pipe carvers, while always remembering the pipe primary function; have elevated their works to objects of art. Who Is Rich Borges?

I am a collector.

Ie collected everything from bottle caps to rocks, stamps & coins; trading cards and letters to money clips; smoking pipes to cigar cutters; and antique furniture to records.

My darling wife insists that out there somewhere is a word that describes my collecting addiction. Obviously, I need an outlet.
